Do you have to be Catholic to attend St. Augustine Catholic School?

Our community’s goal is to be reflective of the universal Church in bringing together students from various faith, academic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, to receive the education of mind, heart & spirit. You do not have to be a Catholic to attend St. Augustine Catholic School nor to appreciate the values that are taught in our school.  Through student participation in our school Masses, and the integration of prayer in the daily life of our school, our students are able to develop into thoughtful, service-oriented individuals who have the resources to make positive life choices in the future.

What is the average class size and what grades do you serve?

Answer
We believe that a smaller class size provides for an atmosphere that is conducive to successful learning. Therefore our average class size is 20 students. Our school community proudly offers a quality education to students in grades Pre-K3 to 8.

What is the length of the academic term?

Answer
Our academic year runs from early August to late May.

Do you offer after school care?

Answer
We understand that our families are busy and may have commitments that require them to operate on different schedules that begin or extend beyond the traditional hours of a school day. We offer exceptional Morning and After-school programs to assist families with alleviating time-related issues.

How can we as a family become involved in our child’s education?

Answer
Our school community offers many school activities, which families are encouraged to participate in, throughout the year. Celebrate reading by reading together as a family or assist students in building an understanding that learning occurs beyond the classroom by pointing out lessons and using teachable moments in daily life.
