My name is Deena G. Wolf and I am the Instructional Specialist for St. Augustine and St. Pius V Catholic Schools. I am blessed to be a product of Catholic education, having attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through college. I have been a teacher in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston for eighteen years, serving five of those years as principal. I am an avid proponent of Catholic education, which is dedicated to educating mind, body, and soul of its students. I consider it a privilege to be part of this mission and am dedicated to sharing my passion for our Catholic faith in addition to promoting a learner-centered curriculum with all of our students.
“A Catholic school is a place where students live a shared experience of faith in God and where they learn the riches of Catholic culture…Catholic schools must help students to deepen their relationship with God and to discover that all things human have their deepest meaning in the person and teaching of Jesus Christ.” St. Pope John Paul II
